Art/Food Week $425 (non-member) $375 (member) for short day $325 (non member) $275 member. $50 deposit due April 10th, remaining balance due May 1st.
We are excited to announce that we’ve teamed up with Jim Reid to offer a wonderful week of creating art and food this summer at Wild Goose Farm. We’d like to invite your child to spend the week in our beautiful natural setting, getting hands colorfully messy, and learning all about growing and preparing great food.
Your child will explore various art media; take part in fun outdoor activities & games, and help to plant, harvest, cook, and eat delicious organic food. At the end of the week participants will hold an art show for parents and friends to enjoy.
In order to give the kids individualized attention, we are only able to include 15 participants aged 9-15. Jim’s regular students and those who’ve expressed interest in the Farm are being invited first. Please let us know soon if you would like a spot. If you know of others who would be interested, please let us know that as well and we will include them if space becomes available.
The week will run June 8th - 12th from 9:30am-7:30 pm with a shorter day option 9:30-3:30 pm. We will provide two nutritious organic meals each day, snacks and beverages and all the art supplies. In addition, the young artists will be invited to a seed-planting workshop in April where they can help to plant and tend the garden we will be eating out of come June. The cost for the week and the pre-week planting workshop is $425 (full day) or $325 (short day). Farm members receive a $50 discount per child. If you are interested in a tuition reduction in exchange for work hours, let us know and we'd be happy to make that work.
The schedule for the week will look something like this...
9:30: Meet at Farm –Opening Circle and Morning Games
10:30: Art (@ 11:30 2 participants help to prep lunch)
12:00: Lunch/Clean Up

It will be a really great week. Mr. Jim and a great group of kids, a beautiful setting, wonderful food, and lots of creative time. Here's what kids who participated in a week on the farm last year said....
"The people were amazing. So was the food! Thanks for a great week."
"Wild Goose week was one of the best weeks of my life! I can't wait to do this every single year until I am eighty-eight million eight hundred eighty-eight thousand eight hundred eighty-eight years old!"
We hope your child can join us.
