Service Description

Learn to grow a regenerative climate victory garden. Make new garden friends, grow nutritious food, and sequester carbon to help reverse climate change in your own backyard at the same time. It sounds like a tall order but it is not. Garden with ease. What works for the soil also works for you, saving you time and allowing you to grow good nutrient dense food. Join a movement of people dedicated to saving the planet by practicing regenerative growing techniques that sequester carbon in the soil. Learn, play, and grow a regenerative climate victory garden with us. All without leaving your own backyard. In this workshop series we will share our challenges, our hopes, and our mistakes. Join us if you would like to: *Make a difference and be a part of the climate solution through the simple profound act of growing a regenerative climate victory garden *Connect with a community of backyard gardeners *Learn simple regenerative and sustainable growing techniques and practices *Support one another by sharing collective wisdom and experiences When you join you will receive information.... *4 Classes on zoom, STARTS MAY 27TH (Join live or catch the recording) *What's happening in your garden this month email lessons (May-Sept) *A field trip to Perennial Gardens *Connection with other victory garden growers! *Access with a modest fee to nifty gardening tools such as square foot gardening blocks, weeding hoe, aerating fork, garlic planting board, and a soil auger. *Link to a private Facebook page to connect with regenerative garden members. *15% discount of regularly priced individual garden consultation sessions both via zoom or in person onsite. Onsite consultations might include conducting soil tests, taking solar readings with a solar pathfinder. Topics by month are: May 27th, Thursday, 5-6pm Feeding the Soil & Ourselves, Planting for Low Maintenance May 28th, Friday TBA Plant Pollinators Field trip to meet Steve at the Perennial Gardens tent at the Natural Food and Garden Store to purchase native perennials June 15th, Tuesday, 5-6pm Bugs & Slugs & Troubleshooting July No class, email only in July: Cooking with Fresh Produce & Herbs August 31st, Tuesday 5-6pm Harvesting Vegetable, Fruits, & Herbs September 16th, Thursday 5-6pm Planting Garlic, Cover Cropping, & Planning for Next Year
